Every day, Maxima works towards a better Australia by helping people into meaningful employment. We do this by connecting job-seekers and employers. As a not-for-profit employment, training and recruitment service, we offer more than 30 years’ experience and have expanded our footprint to service 35 locations across Australia. We meet the varied needs of jobseekers and employers, bringing the two together to mutually beneficial and tailored outcomes. We specialise in helping employers fulfil short-term and permanent labour requirements; we take the time to understand the employer and its culture and we ensure that staff have the right skills and are the right fit for the job. Our passion has made us a leading player in the Federal Government’s Disability Employment Services (DES) program and we now offer specialised DES services to people with disability, injury or a health condition from 40 of our national offices. Maxima is a leading Group Training Organisation (GTO) responsible for the management of trainees and apprentices on behalf of host employers. Traineeships and apprenticeships are available in more than 300 occupations, including traditional trades, as well as a diverse range of emerging careers. We currently employ more than 650 trainees and apprentices around the country. Maxima is also a leader in helping the business community achieve Indigenous employment targets and build a stronger and more diverse workforce. We have 280 Indigenous trainees and apprentices placed with host employers, including national leaders such as Australia Post, Qantas, Bupa and a number of major banks.
