With a collective 500+ years of experience (we counted), our Estimating and Design team have proven time and again to be industry leaders in uncovering considerable cost and buildability efficiencies, while at the same time identifying ways to increase NLA and revenue for our clients. In some cases we have achieved additional value in excess of 15 per cent of total contract value.
Through our unique process, we’re able to accelerate the construction process by engaging early with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure buildability is fully incorporated into the design. It works because we are truly collaborative and transparent with all stakeholders and aligned towards a common goal, making the entire process simple and streamlined. There are no egos, just a bunch of people doing what they love to build something great.

We partner with the best independent experts to verify the quality of our design and work during construction, not just at the completion of a build. If we do something, we want to get it right the first time. We use state-of-the-art quality management systems to ensure we deliver on our uncompromising standards. We bring certainty to everything we do during construction which continues long after we handover.

Since we began in 1996, McNab has gone from strength to strength and built a reputation for financial stability and high quality work that is consistently viewed as an asset to investors and financiers. We now have an annual turnover in excess of $400m working on projects up to $120m in value, and post COVID-19 have a strong workbook through 2021 across a diverse range of sectors and geographies.
McNab is a prominent contributor to the construction industry and approved by the four major banks and leading mezzanine property development funders. We have a best in class reputation with credit insurers and undergo monthly due diligence audits by banks and credit insurers as part of our ongoing tender review process.

First established in Toowoomba in 1996, McNab is now one of the largest private construction companies in Queensland. We’ve come a long way in our 25 years. Maintaining our ‘country’ values and staying true to ourselves has stood us in good stead over this time. We’ve kept our business model the same too; to find the absolute best people who hold the same values we do, so we can keep delivering new projects for Australia’s leading brands.
