Dumpling King cafe Pty Ltd is looking for qualified Chef and Cook on full time basis. Attractive salary of $70K to $80K will be offered to suitable candidates.
Your Duties:
• Menu design and cost control
• Foods order , deliveries accept and stock manage
• Checks the quality of raw materials, as well as the storage, handling and usage.
• Portions all sea foods, meats, vegetables and the ingredients.
• Checks the working performance of the equipments in the kitchen.
• Examines food to ensure flavour and quality
• Preparation the stock, soup and sauces.
• Preparation and cooking foods.
• Use of kitchen equipment, such as salamander, oven and deep fryer.
• To ensure safe handing, storage and preparation of uncooked and cooked food
• To distribute different jobs to the kitchen/waiting staffs
• To ensure that all the stuffs (such as dishes, saucers, cutleries, etc) leaving the kitchen are checked for quality, quantity, presentation and correct temperature, etc.
• To supervise and train and recruit kitchen staff
• To ensure the kitchen/waiting staff to be aware of personal hygiene and keep the standard of each service.
Requirements:
1. Diploma in relevant field for Chef and Certificate IV of cookery for Cook
2. Ability to work under pressure and independently
3. Cope with pressure
4. At least 1 year work experience in similar role
